Last year brought some great additions to feature packages of upper trims, and this time, it could bring some upgrades in that department even for lower ones. Venza is available in three trims, including LE, XLE and Limited. Don’t be confused with list of features incorporated, it is the standard equipment on the base LE level, and it counts the 19-inch wheels, automatic headlights, foglights, de-icer windshield wiper, blind-spot mirror, keyless entry, cruise and two-zone automatic climate control, an 8-way power adjustable driver seat, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, while its tech features include Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity and sound system with 6 speakers and touchscreen interface, a CD player, an additional audio input and an iPod/USB interface. Upper trims bring better solutions n the existing ones, such as bigger touchscreen and more quality radio.

2015 Toyota Venza comes with two engines, which come whether as standard or optional on first two trims, while Limited version of Venza has only one option, and comes strictly with stronger power unit.  The LE and XLE trims are equipped with a 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine that pumps out 181 horsepower and 182 pound-feet of torque. The Limited version’s standard and on the other trims optional is a 3.5-liter V6 engine with an output of 268 horsepower and 246 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are mated to a 6-speed automatic and both front and all-wheel-drive. Fuel economy rates differ on drive mode and engines, so with the 4-cylinder engine and FWD 2015 Toyota Venza will be able to deliver 20/26/23 mpg and AWD 20/26/22 mpg city/hwy/combined. Powered with V6 and FWD 2015 Venza gets 19/26/22 mpg city/hwy/combined, while with AWD it gets one mile less for every parameter.

The biggest rival is Subaru’s Outback which has two advantages including more off-road capabilities as well as better price, which means lower. On its fight for customers 2015 Toyota Venza could also face  Ford Edge, Kia Sorento and Nissan Murano, and the “biggest” difference among these model is that Venza lays little lower than its three rivals.

2015 Toyota Venza is scheduled to be released sometime in the middle of this year, but it looks like we will have to wait for a little longer. Exact release date is kept in secret, although we do believe that it will be launched soon, probably in next couple of months. Its price will be in range between $27 950 and $39 570.
