2015 GMC Acadia

With three trims, and one engine, 2015 GMC Acadia manages to keep pace with leaders from its category. Minor refreshment made two years ago, done the job for timeless Acadia. Front end of this SUV is decorated with unique grill for all trims and satin chrome accents for Denali version. Front and rear fascias are painted in body color which gives Acadia more sophisticated look. As mentioned, Acadia comes in three variations, including SLE, SLT and Denali, while the SLE and SLT trims have sublevels, SLE2 and SLT2. 2015 GMC Acadia SLE comes with power windows and locks, power mirrors, climate and cruise control, a Color Touch Radio with touch-screen, a USB input, a rearview camera, and trial version of satellite radio service. Upper trims add leather upholstery, heated and cooled front seats, rear entertainment system, tri-zone climate control and more. As far as safety, Acadia brings out the best scores. Blind-spot monitors with cross-traffic alerts, forward-collision alert, lane-departure warning are just some of the safety systems that could be found as standard (on upper trim levels), or optional (on the base variant).

Under the hood of all 2015 GMC Acadias is a 3.6L V6 engine which is capable to deliver up to 281 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, which transfers power of the engine to either front or all-wheels. Acadia’s AWD technology is capable to send up to 65 percent of power to rear wheels. In order to improve the performance of the 2015 Acadia, GMC added StabiliTrak with traction control technology which helps the driver to keep the vehicle on track. EPA rates for FWD Acadia are 17/24/19 mpg city/hwy/combined, while AWD provide 16/23/18 mpg.
