2015 Chevrolet Trax comes with only one engine choice, but strong and efficient enough that you won’t need another. Its base and only engine is a turbocharged 1.4-liter ECOTEC 4-cylinder with 138 horsepower and 148 pound-feet of torque. The engine transfers the engine power to either front- (standard) or all-wheels (optional) via 6-speed automatic transmission.

2015 Chevrolet Trax competition

Having in mind that 2015 Chevrolet Trax falls into small crossover category, it will compete against Kia Soul, Nissan Juke, Jeep Renegade and Honda HR-V. When we speak about possible advantages of its opponents, we can mention the off-road capabilities of the Renegade or the more powerful, but funkier Juke.

2015 Chevrolet Trax price and release

2015 Trax was presented at the 2014 New York Auto Show, and it should go on sale early on next year. Chevy still didn’t release Trax’s pricing specs, but considering its size and competition, it should start around $20,000.
