2015 Buick Encore changes include mainly high-tech upgrade. New model year brings better connectivity, since Buick incorporated OnStar with 4G LTE and built-in Wi-Fi hotspot into Encore as standard. Other than this, popular SUV remain mostly unchanged. 2015 Buick Encore is subcompact crossover available in four trims, including Base, Convenience, Leather and Premium. Beside Base trim, Convenience variant also received expansion of its standards, with few safety features. Safety additions include Forward Collision Warning and Lane Departure Warning.

Beside these new features base trim level of the 2015 Buick’s Encore will include rearview camera, Bluetooth connectivity, IntelliLink system which includes a 7-inch display, Bluetooth connectivity, audio streaming and voice control, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, AM/FM/CD/SiriusXM sound system with 6 speakers auxiliary and USB ports, climate and cruise control, power locks and windows, keyless access and 18-inch alloy wheels.

Second in the line-up, Convenience trim, adds two-zone automatic A/C, remote vehicle starter system, foglights and dimming mirrors.

2015 Encore Leather adds leather upholstery, heatable front seats and steering wheel, a power-adjustable front passenger’s seat and memory settings for the driver’s seat.

The most-equipped trim level, Premium, provides Bose sound system with 7 speakers and front and rear park assist.

Under the hood of 2015 Buick Encore is placed 1.6-liter turbocharged I4 engine. It is capable to deliver up to 138 horsepower and 148 lb-ft of torque. It comes paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission which transfers the power of the engine to front-wheels, as standard or all-wheels, as optional. All-wheel drive is additionally upgraded with 4 weather traction. 2015 Encore accelerates from zero to 60 in 9 seconds approximately.

Fuel economy depends on drivetrain, so with FWD this crossover will be able to deliver 25 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway, while the ones with AWD deliver 23/30 mpg city/hwy.

It could, however be faced with MINI Countryman, but will offer better price than MINI.
