2015 BMW X4: Design and Style

2015 BMW X4 has its unique design, with some details specific for BMW as well as some styling tweaks from the X3. X4, as well as X6, is a “show-off” vehicle, meaning that its manufacturers decided to put main focus on its style, even if that means to sacrifice its utility. Although it is made on the same platform X4 is 1,5-inches lower and wider than the X3. Its body style is somewhere between coupe and SUV variants, with lowered rear end, to make the vehicle more attractive and elegant. Overall impression is that new X4 looks expensive and elegant, but, BMW officials claim that this design is not only attractive, but also has big influence on vehicle’s dynamics, which makes it more controllable in the curves. Fascia’s design is all new, while the headlights are borrowed from its cousin, the X3.

2015 BMW X4: Interior

Interior is resembles very much to X3’s inside. Lowered rear end is incorporated so that it doesn’t affect passenger’s comfort and space, while the trunk might be a problem. 2015 BMW X4 offers 17.7 cubic feet of cargo room.  Cargo space volume sounds much better if you fold rear seats down, new X4 will offer you 49.4 cubic feet, enough for baggage. Dash layout and look, materials, surfaces, trims are just what we expected from BMW, luxurious, top quality and great design.

German holy trinity (Audi, BMW and Mercedes) are always the toughest competitors to one another. Speaking of that, biggest rivals for 2015 BMW X4 from Mercedes are models from MLC-Class, but, also, the upcoming second generation of its  GLK series could be even more competitive.  Direct competition from Audi could be the upcoming model Q6, which release is expected soon.
