2015 Audi Q5: Exterior and Interior

2015 Audi Q5 still comes available in three trim levels, including Premium, Premium Plus and Prestige. Changes are made on all of them, and include minor refreshments. Headlights are the biggest change, since Q5 is now available with xenon plus headlights with LED daytime running lights, and power tailgate. Q5 is a perfect size car for average families since it offers enough room for five adult passengers. Premium levels comes with only one engine option but with a bunch of features including 18-inch wheels, automatic headlamps, automatic wipers, audio system, leather upholstery, three-zone climate control, and few other. Premium plus adds iPod integration and panoramic sunroof, while the same trim with stronger engine adds 19-inch wheels. Prestige trim is loaded with high-tech equipment including Bang & Olufsen audio system.

2015 Audi Q5: Engine, Hybrid

Q5 comes with four different engines, which include both diesel and petrol units, but also one Hybrid variant. Standard engine and base version is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder that produces 211 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque.  2015 Audi Q5 powered with this engine is capable to deliver 20 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. Second petrol engine is a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 with an output of 272 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque and fuel economy rates at 18 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. Available diesel unit is a 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 with 240 horsepower and 428 lb-ft of torque and great fuel economy rated at 24 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway. 2015 Audi Q5 Hybrid pairs 2.0-liter four-cylinder with an electric motor for a combined output of 245 horsepower and 345 lb-ft of torque. Q5 Hybrid is good for 24 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway.

2015 Audi Q5: Competitors

Perhaps the most saturated SUV category forced many car producers to upgrade their model and to step-up the game. The strongest competitors are Mercedes GLK250 and BMW X3, for European market, while for the US market its rivals could be Cadillac SRX, the Lexus RX 350 and Acura RDX.

2015 Audi Q5: Price and Release

2015 Audi Q5 will go on sale this summer, and just recently Audi release full specs regarding its popular SUV. Good news is that it records only $ 1,630 price increase compared to the last year model, while its trims record even less. Starting price is $ 39,825 and it goes up to $ 54,500, while the sportier SQ5 variant goes up to $ 60,200.
